First Post

The last load of laundry is in the washer, my good byes have been said. Plans have been made to pay my bills. I am ready to once again leap into the big gray machine.

Has anyone else noticed that between the Field Gray dotted uniforms and coal scuttle helmets we are looking more and more like an army from the past? Well there is no accounting for taste, and this is the same army that thought Berets were a good idea.

All of my favorite themes are playing in harmony in the back of my head, an acceptance of imperfect results, flexibility in the face of adversity, and a sick sense of humor. This string trio plays the rhythm that I dance to, badly, through life. It should serve me well on these next two songs. A short song training up in the states, and then the long waltz through the Mesopotamian desert
